ARTIST STATEMENT
I have always been one to notice.
From the time I could finally explore the world on my hands and feet, I remember observing more closely than most.
No band of light or freckle on a seashell was to go unnoticed. No slant of a smile or stitch of embroidery was to be forgotten.
They are all brushstrokes toward something larger than us, and noticing what most overlook is how we come to understand the larger picture completely.
